U.S., Canadian Slots for Cookie Jar’s Magi-Nation

LOS ANGELES, February 22: Cookie Jar Entertainment has
licensed its original 2-D animated series Magi-Nation to Kids’ WB! in the U.S. and to CBC in
Canada.

The networks will broadcast the first 26 episodes of Magi-Nation,
which is the newest series from Coliseum,
Cookie Jar Entertainment’s action adventure brand. A co-production between
Cookie Jar Entertainment and South Korea’s Daiwon, Magi-Nation is based on the Magi-Nation game by Interactive Imagination Corporation. The
series follows the adventures of 15-year-old Tony Jones, who is mystically
transported into Magi-Nation, a magical world created millennia ago by a
powerful race known as the Magi. There, he teams up with Edyn and Strag, two
young Magi heroes in training, to fight the evil Shadow Magi who threaten their
world.

“We are pleased to have placed Magi-Nation with some of the top broadcasters in children’s
entertainment,” said Toper Taylor, the president and COO of Cookie Jar
Entertainment. "The addition of Magi-Nation to our growing library of action-adventure shows
demonstrates Cookie Jar’s commitment to expanding our creative and balanced
portfolio of quality programs for kids of all ages.”
