Twofour Secures Sales for Extreme Cake Makers & More

Ahead of NATPE Miami, Twofour has inked deals in Latin America, Europe and beyond for a raft of titles, including factual and factual-entertainment shows such as Extreme Cake Makers and Inside Mandarin Oriental.

Sky Italia picked up a 20-hour package of factual and factual-entertainment titles that includes season one of Extreme Cake Makers, Feeding the Super Rich, Inside Mandarin Oriental, The World’s Most Expensive Presents and Born to Kill: Class of Evil for its platform of channels. Born to Kill: Class of Evil was also scooped up by Bell Media for French Canada and The History Channel in Iberia. The spin-off collection is from the Born to Kill? brand.

RMC Decouverte in France acquired the rights to air the science and history factual series Impossible Railways, while Societe Radio-Canada also secured the series in French-speaking Canada for its channel ICI EXPLORA. In addition, Discovery licensed the show in Italy.

Discovery Latin America inked a deal for the dating series Strip Date, which sees singletons go through a radical makeover in a bid to find a suitable partner, while The World’s Most Expensive Presents has found a home with RTL Nederland and Medialaan in Belgium.

The deals were secured by Eniela Bella, the VP of sales for EMEA and Latin America, who will present Twofour’s slate at NATPE Miami next week. Additional highlights at the market will include This Time Next Year, Change Your Tune, Give It a Year, What Would Your Kid Do? and A Night with My Ex.
