Two New Titles Added to Moving Pictures Catalogue

SANTA MONICA: Moving Pictures Film & TV is at the AFM with two new titles in its portfolio, Miss Nobody and Mayor Cupcake.

Miss Nobody tells the story on a secretary who is unlucky in love. The dark comedy stars Leslie Bibb, along with Adam Goldberg, Kathy Baker, Missi Pyle, Brandon Routh, Vivica Fox and Barry Bostwick. Mayor Cupcake is a family film. The light comedy follows a hardworking cupcake-maker who is inadvertently elected mayor of her small town. Lea Thompson stars.

Moving Pictures has also announced the hire of Stephanie Slack as senior VP of worldwide sales and distribution. Slack joins from 20th Century Fox’s television distribution group, where she was the VP of international television. She also previously headed up the sales division at PorchLight Entertainment.
