Two New Eco Series for Sundance Channel’s Green Block

NEW YORK, May 21: Sundance
Channel has added two British eco-reality series, Outrageous Wasters and the second season of It’s Not Easy Being
Green
, to the lineup of its
environmental block, The Green.

Outrageous Wasters, a four-part series that follows a single family
through a crash course in living an eco-aware lifestyle, will debut July 1 at 9
p.m., while season two of It’s Not Easy Being Green, which features green experts traveling around the
British countryside to assist citizens in realizing their eco goals, premieres
July 29 at 9 p.m. These shows will be followed each week in The Green by an eco-related documentary film.

Also set to air in The
Green
are Wetlands Preserved, Garbage Warrior, Genesis, The Greening of Southie,
The Unforeseen, In the Pit, Grass,
Ice Breaker, Everything’s
Cool
, Somba Ke: The Money Place, Burning the Future: Coal in America and Off the Grid: Life on the Mesa. Sundance Channel’s original series Big Ideas
for a Small Planet
continues every
Tuesday night at 9 p.m. through June 24.
