ZED & CCTV-9 Set New Wildlife Co-Pro

ZED and CCTV-9 are collaborating on Wild Treasures of China, a five-part wildlife series budgeted at €3 million.

Shot in China, the 4K series will focus on the rare species that inhabit these untamed wildernesses. The first episode, directed by Frédéric Larrey, will focus on the snow leopard. It will be delivered in February 2020, after three years of shooting. The episode has already been pre-sold to France Télévisions, Smithsonian Channel, Nat Geo WILD and NDR.

The four other episodes will be completed in 2021 and will focus on other China’s iconic animals: the Siberian tiger, the Tibetan blue bear, the Tibetan antelope and the giant panda.
