ZDFE Inks First Sales for Darwin’s Secret

ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE) has secured the first deals for the documentary Darwin’s Secret.

ZDF Enterprises sold the program to Smithsonian Networks and The History Channel Australia. Darwin’s Secret reveals the covert mission of the HMS Beagle, a voyage that changed the world. Charles Darwin was on board the ship serving as the scientific officer. The story behind the journey formed the basis for Darwin’s groundbreaking Theory of Evolution.

Darwin’s Secret is produced by InspiraTV’s Jürgen Stumpfhaus for ZDF’s Terra X slot. It is co-produced by ZDF Enterprises, which also handles worldwide distribution.
