ZDFE Co-Producing New WWII Docuseries

ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE) is co-producing War Gamers, a brand-new docuseries about the story of the WRENS during World War II.

When the Royal Navy was charged with determining why German U-boats were having so much success, Captain Roberts put together a team of women, who were all members of the Women’s Royal Naval Service (WRENS). Not only did they determine how the U-boats were sinking so many British and American ships, but they also came up with a plan to defeat them.

A six-part series, War Gamers is produced by World Media Rights in association with ZDFE for Curiosity. The series will premiere on Curiosity Stream in 2022. ZDFE will handle the distribution in select international markets.
