Viaplay Reveals Wozniacki & Lee Docuseries

Viaplay has unveiled its next original, the docuseries Wozniacki & Lee, centering on retired tennis player Caroline Wozniacki and her husband, two-time NBA All-Star David Lee.

Filmed over a ten-month period, the series follows Wozniacki and Lee’s life before and after the birth of their daughter, Olivia. It features contributions from tennis stars Serena Williams and Agnieszka Radwańska, as well as triple NBA champion Draymond Green.

Wozniacki & Lee also offers extensive insights into the previously untold story of Wozniacki’s relationship with her father and coach, Piotr. It will debut on Viaplay on March 21.

The series, produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Denmark, is part of the 60 originals Viaplay plans to release in 2022.

“For many years it’s been about us, and becoming parents is a new and very different chapter in our lives,” said Wozniacki and Lee. “It’s always a bit nerve-wracking to share a personal story, but being part of this documentary has given us the possibility to look back at our careers and share the most fantastic story in our lives: becoming parents to Olivia.”

Filippa Wallestam, Nordic Entertainment Group’s chief content officer, said, “Caroline and David’s discipline, training and routines took them to the very top as sportspeople. Now they have an even bigger goal—to be the best parents for their little daughter, Olivia. We’re looking forward to giving Viaplay viewers a unique glimpse into the couple’s life, as part of our rapidly expanding slate of compelling factual and sports-related Originals.”
