UKTV Moves Home to Free-to-Air Slot

LONDON: UKTV has secured a sixth free-to-air slot, which it will use for the channel Home.

Currently exclusively in pay TV, Home is dedicated to inspirational home and gardens programming. The channel makes its move to free-to-air on March 1. With this move, UKTV will have six channels in free-to-air, along with Dave, Dave Ja Vu, Drama, Really and Yesterday.

Emma Ayech, general manager of Home, said, “Moving Home into free-to-air households gives a greater reach to our channel, offering more viewers the opportunity to watch our great roster of much-loved shows fronted by big name talent. We’re looking forward to welcoming new audiences to our Home.”
