TVF International signed a collection of titles from Korean broadcaster EBS—Anthropocene, which investigates the significant human impact on Earth’s geology and ecosystems, and China’s Dragon Emperor, a co-production with Smithsonian Channel that looks at how Qin Shi Huang managed to unify China for the first time over 2,000 years ago.

The new slate also features In My Mind, Bulletproof, Being Me and My Perfect Family, as well as The Disease that Killed My Family. Further, Man Enough, the New Zealand version of original male mental health format Man Up, takes front seat in TVF International’s Health and Family offering. Misunderstandings of Miscarriage, from THIS. Film Studio and Neon Jane Productions, premiered on Stan and follows Australian actress Tahyna MacManus on an intimate journey to meet other courageous women, doctors and fertility experts to break down the taboo surrounding the experience of miscarriage.

TVF will also be bringing a number of crime and investigation documentaries to market, including One Day that Changed Asia and How to Catch a Killer, as well as half a dozen COVID-19-related programs.

Will Stapley, head of acquisitions at the distributor, said: “Given the unfortunate delays and cancellations to so many productions this year, we are very proud to be offering our buyers such a strong slate of award-winning, purposeful and relevant programming that will cater to unscripted buyers in every corner of the globe.”
