Truly Original Taps Stephen Mintz for Programming & Development

Emmy Award-winning producer Stephen Mintz has joined Truly Original (The Real Housewives of AtlantaInk Master) as the VP of programming and development.

Joining a creative team led by executive VP of programming, Lauren Eskelin, and executive VP of development, Bryan Hale, Mintz will work across Truly Original’s slate of long-running franchises that also includes Vanity Fair ConfidentialSwamp People and Hack My Life, as well as Shahs of SunsetSummer House and the upcoming Stripped, among others. Truly Original also has projects in development for such networks as MTV, TLC, BET, Bravo, Logo and VH1.

Before joining Truly Original, Mintz served as executive producer at HISTORY Channel, where he oversaw some of the network’s most successful franchises, including Swamp PeopleIce Road Truckers and Appalachian Outlaws, and shepherded several high-profile specials such as The L.A. Riots: 25 Years Later and Navy SEALs: America’s Secret Warriors. Prior to that, Mintz was an executive producer at VH1, where he helped relaunch the iconic biography series Behind the Music, among other accomplishments. Mintz began his career at NBA Entertainment as a producer and editor.
