True Crime Channel Adds to British Content Lineup

The True Crime Channel has increased its exclusive British true-crime content lineup with the recommission and launch of several programs.

UK Crime Files will launch nightly from 7 p.m. The third season of Donal MacIntyre’s UK Killer Evidence will premiere on April 6, and Killers: Caught on Camera season four will premiere on April 21.

UK Crime Files is a curated nightly block of original British true crime documentaries focusing exclusively on cases from across the British Isles. Each hour features a different murder investigation examined through the accounts of those closest to it, from the experts who worked the case to the families affected by it.

Donal MacIntyre’s UK Killer Evidence season three builds each British murder case clue by clue, drawing on firsthand testimony from the detectives and forensic scientists who worked the investigations.

Killers: Caught on Camera season four reveals exclusive CCTV, bodycam, home surveillance and mobile phone footage behind homicide convictions in the U.S. and U.K. Law enforcement and forensic experts from both sides of the Atlantic examine the key evidence that broke open each investigation.

“There’s sustained audience demand for British true crime told with editorial authority—and this spring’s schedule is our clearest answer to that yet,” said Sam Rowden, executive producer and VP of content at AMC Networks International—UK. “UK Crime Files gives our original productions a strong nightly home on linear, and with two of our most acclaimed series returning for new seasons, we’re demonstrating the real depth of what we’ve built. Donal MacIntyre will also be taking that story live to audiences at CrimeCon Birmingham. Our content is increasingly available to audiences, however and wherever they choose to watch.”
