NEW YORK: Travel Channel has renewed the culinary/travel series Man Finds Food for a sophomore season, set to kick off next year.

The series, hosted by comfort food connoisseur Adam Richman, will air next summer across Scripps Networks’s international portfolio of channels in 100-plus countries and territories, including on Travel Channel in the U.S. The 14-episode second-run sees Richman travel the world in search of the best local dishes across Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. He heads to off-the-beaten-path restaurants to sample traditional favorites and discover other delicacies in each locale. Filming on season two will begin in South Africa next week.

"I can't tell you how excited I am to get back on the road with my amazing crew for season two of Man Finds Food,” said Richman. “To be able to share the truly hidden and delicious gems that are out there with people all over the world is really a special opportunity. And to be able to do it with Travel Channel, where my first TV food journeys began, just makes it all the more special.”

Man Finds Food is produced for Travel Channel by Sharp Entertainment. Matt Sharp, Dan Adler, Richman and Bonnie Biggs serve as executive producers for Sharp Entertainment, while the co-executive producer is Catherine Pappas. For Travel Channel, the executive producer is Brian Leonard.
