London-based TCB Media Rights has greenlit two more factual series, bolstering its slate of original U.K. commissions.

Hunch Media’s World’s Most Shocking Emergency Calls, which is moving into production and has been pre-sold to Seven Network Australia, examines disturbing incidents that started with a call for help. The emergency calls range from killers confessing to murder, frightened victims in need of assistance, witnesses describing horrific events as they unfold before them and liars attempting to cover up their crimes.

Underground Worlds, from Phoenix Television, explores both man-made and natural underground structures, delving into the mysteries surrounding the earliest feats of engineering. The series will investigate who built what, where and why.

Both 10×60-minute factual titles are executive produced by TCB commissioning editor Hannah Demidowicz.

Paul Heaney, founder and CEO of TCB Media Rights, said: “The strategy of getting involved in content creation is now starting to pay dividends. We are always learning and hopefully improving how we manage this new endeavor—matching the demands of our buyer community with the skills of our incredible producer-partners. The result is a strong pipeline of fresh, original and marketable programming, of which World’s Most Shocking Emergency Calls and Underground Worlds are prime examples. Greenlighting these shows is a hell of a responsibility, but we have the infrastructure and support to do so.”
