FX has acquired its first-ever documentary feature film, AKA Jane Roe, the revealing story of Norma McCorvey, who was “Jane Roe” in the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark ruling on abortion rights.

Peabody and FX have joined forces for Peabody Presents: Stories of the Year, a documentary-style television special featuring a roundtable discussion with recent Peabody Award winners moderated by comedian Hasan Minhaj.

The New York Times docuseries The Weekly is slated to make its debut on FX in June.

FX has scored the first-run North American rights for The Weekly, The New York Times’ first major foray into TV news, in partnership with Hulu, which will be the exclusive SVOD streaming home for new episodes the day after they air.
