FX Sets Premiere Date for The Weekly Docuseries

The New York Times docuseries The Weekly is slated to make its debut on FX in June.

The Weekly, The New York Times’ first major foray into TV news, will feature half-hour episodes with Times journalists—who report from around the world and cover all matter of topics—diving into the pressing issues of the day. The docuseries is produced by The New York Times and Left/Right, a Red Arrow Studios company. Red Arrow Studios International is distributing The Weekly internationally.

The Weekly will premiere on Sunday, June 2, at 10 p.m. on FX. Hulu will serve as the exclusive SVOD streaming home to new episodes of the series the day after they air. Episodes also will be available on FX’s video-on-demand services FXNOW (with commercials) and the commercial-free FX+ to authenticated subscribers.
