David Beckham’s Studio 99 has tapped Jessica Ludgrove as VP of production, a newly created role.

Ludgrove is responsible for overseeing and driving the development slate and production output of the Studio 99 editorial team. She joins the company with immediate effect after having several senior roles in the industry, including as VP of development at Universal Pictures Content Group and head of production at Passion Pictures.

Nicola Howson, president of Studio 99, to whom Ludgrove will report, said, “Jessica brings a wealth of high-quality editorial experience, and she will add real depth to our team as we continue to develop and produce world-class content and formats.”

Ludgrove said, “I’m very excited to take on the role of VP of production, joining Studio 99’s brilliant editorial team to help build on their impressive slate of documentary titles.”

Part of Authentic Studios, Studio 99 operates both editorial and commercial production and specializes in developing and producing documentary features, series and formats. The London-based studio’s recent work has included the Emmy award-winning documentary series BECKHAM (Netflix) and the documentaries 99, about Manchester United’s treble-winning season, and Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything, both for Amazon’s Prime Video.
