Steve Harvey, Mark Burnett On Board ABC Reality Show

BURBANK: Emmy-winning exec producer Mark Burnett (Shark Tank) and TV personality Steve Harvey (Celebrity Family Feud, Little Big Shots) are partnering on a new seed-funding business series for ABC.

The 13-parter is slated for broadcast on ABC later this year. The show will see rival entrepreneurs competitively pitch their ideas in front of a live studio audience, who will then vote on which individual should receive funding for their idea. Harvey will serve as host of the series, which will be produced by MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM.

“My dream has been to work with Steve, and this is the perfect project for us to do together,” said Burnett, who will serve as the show’s executive producer. “He is an amazing talent and has an enormous heart for entrepreneurs, some of whom will get their business jump-started because of him.”

Harvey added: “I’m thrilled to have another passion project on the ABC schedule. This is just the type of show that gives folks a vehicle to breathe life into their dreams.”
