Smithsonian Networks Launches Nature & Wildlife Streaming Service

NEW YORK: Smithsonian Networks has introduced a new SVOD service, Smithsonian Earth, featuring original nature and wildlife content.

The stand-alone offering is available in both HD and 4K resolution with compatible devices and television. The array of new originals will be refreshed on a weekly basis. The programming includes documentaries and short series, all centered on nature and wildlife.

Smithsonian Earth is available on Roku players and Apple TV.

“With Smithsonian Earth we are looking to satisfy the strong consumer demand for visually stunning unique nature and wildlife programming,” said Tom Hayden, the president of Smithsonian Networks. “Subscribers to this service can view the beauty and diversity of the natural world across multiple platforms and in spectacular 4K.”
