Smithsonian Channel Teams with MLB on New Series

NEW YORK: Smithsonian Channel and Major League Baseball (MLB) have partnered on a series that spotlights some of the sport’s most legendary players, titled Major League Legends.

The series kicks off on February 29 at 8 p.m. and will premiere over four consecutive Monday nights. There will be a special Black History Month presentation of Major League Legends: Hank Aaron as well. The other players profiled in episodes are Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Ted Williams. Each installment is narrated by Martin Sheen.
