Germany’s RTL has picked up We Will Dance Again, a documentary about the Hamas attack on the Nova Music Festival on October 7, 2023, to premiere on October 2.

The 90-minute film tells the stories of more than a dozen survivors in their own words and pieces together exclusive video footage with that of the perpetrators themselves and CCTV cameras. On October 2, RTL will follow the documentary with a Night Journal special to offer more coverage and analysis of the attack.

Additionally, encore episodes will be shown on news channel NTV and the SVOD service RTL+.

We Will Dance Again is directed by Yariv Mozer. It is set to debut on Paramount+ in the U.S. on September 24. Paramount+ is a co-producer alongside BBC Storyville in the U.K., Channel Nine in Australia and HOT Channel 8 in Israel.

“We are gratified to see so many major global broadcasters with tremendous journalistic integrity embracing this incredibly powerful documentary, which is important for the world to see,” said Chris Grant, whose international distribution company Osmosis Global made the deal.

Christian Hensgens, channel manager, multichannel, for RTL Germany, added, “The beginning of October marks the commemoration of the Hamas terror attack on the Nova Music Festival. We Will Dance Again is an incredible documentary recounting the events and shocking experiences of the people on site. We are proud being able to bring this outstanding documentary to our audiences.”
