Rogers Sports & Media has unveiled over 115 hours of new Canadian-made original programming that will be coming to HGTV and Food Network.

The slate for HGTV includes several titles from Jonathan and Drew Scott’s Scott Brothers Entertainment: Property Brothers: Commitment Issues (w.t.), The Emily Michelle Project and Top of the Block.

Property Brothers: Commitment Issues will see the brothers help homeowners make confident, informed decisions when purchasing their dream homes and then lead the renovation process once the houses have been bought. The Emily Michelle Project will follow as interior designer Emily Michelle helps homeowners achieve their dream homes without breaking the bank. In Top of the Block, distributed by Cineflix Rights, homeowners will compete to prove their house is the best on the block.

“As Vancouver natives, Canada has a special place in our hearts, and we always strive to make sure that our shows are available to Canadian audiences,” said Drew and Jonathan Scott. “It’s exciting to work with Rogers to expand our offerings in this market, and we think audiences are really going to love some of the new content we have coming up, including the new series Property Brothers: Commitment Issues, in which we’ll help hesitant home buyers commit to a home purchase by transforming it into their dream space.”

“Drew and Jonathan Scott are superstars in lifestyle television and have this tremendous capacity to deeply engage and inspire audiences with their relatable presence and trusted expertise,” said Kale Stockwell, director of original programming at Rogers Sports & Media. “We’re excited to bring more Property Brothers to Canadians next year with their new HGTV series.”

RTR Media’s Home Town Takeover Canada, Ocean Entertainment’s Small Town Escapes with Colin & Justin and RTR Media’s The County are also on the upcoming HGTV slate. Home Town Takeover Canada is based on the U.S. hit of the same name. Small Town Escapes with Colin & Justin will make dreams come true for homebuyers looking to escape to a small town. The County will star HGTV Canada star and designer Sarah Keenleyside, who uprooted her family from Toronto to Prince Edward County, Ontario, to build her home and design business from scratch.

Food Network also has a host of new Canadian originals lined up from various producers. Proper Television’s Andy’s East Coast Kitchen Crawl will see chef and social media star Andy Hay (MasterChef Canada) explore the essence of East Coast cooking one kitchen at a time, from lobster boats to clam shacks to five-star establishments. In Bake Master Battle, Canadian TV personality Dina Pugliese will serve as host of a bake-off between three teams of elite bakers. Blink49 Studios’ Come Dine With Me Canada, based on the format by ITV Studios, will follow as five amateur chefs host dinner parties at their homes. David Rocco’s Eating Dirty, from Rockhead Entertainment, will see celebrity chef David Rocco set off on a food journey through Italy’s cities, towns and villages.

All of these titles will join the latest episodes and newest seasons of U.S. programming such as Beat Bobby Flay and Chopped on Food Network and Celebrity IOU, Home Town and Rock The Block on HGTV.

“We are proud to collaborate with an incredible group of Canadian production partners and personalities to bring nearly 120 hours of original unscripted programming with both big household names and new voices,” Stockwell said. “Whether it’s home renos, visually stunning culinary creations or inspiring home design, this robust and competitive slate builds on the foundation of what makes HGTV and Food Network so popular with viewers and offers unique opportunities for advertisers.”
