Red Arrow Studios and Dorsey Pictures, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, have renewed their management deal.

“When we celebrated our 15-year anniversary, I felt like our talented team was just getting started and hitting our stride, and that’s certainly been the case,” said Chris Dorsey, Dorsey Pictures’ CEO. “We continue to work diligently to be a leader in lifestyle and other programming, to understand our clients and adjust to their needs. The first five years of our deal with Red Arrow helped extend our brand and programming to international markets. Amy [Dorsey, managing director] and I are delighted to continue working with their incredible team on building internationally recognized brands and content.”

Henrik Pabst, chief content officer of Seven. One Entertainment Group, the entertainment arm of ProSiebenSat.1, and a member of the Red Arrow Studios advisory board, commented: “Dorsey Pictures is a leading force in lifestyle and true-crime television. With an exciting slate of programming, we are looking forward to working together to build on Dorsey Picture’s heritage of hit TV that resonates with viewers.”

In 2020, Dorsey Pictures managed its best year financially with more than 60 hours of unscripted programming produced, including Maine Cabin Masters, Building Off the Grid, Building Alaska and Reclaimed, as well as the continued success found in true-crime programming with the second season of Accident, Suicide or Murder. The company also produced repacks of Building Alaska, Building Off the Grid and Maine Cabin Masters as part of the Covid-19 programming solution for networks. Further, Dorsey Pictures added Stone House Revival to its slate, along with 2021 orders for Accident, Suicide or Murder on Oxygen, Maine Cabin Masters and Building Off the Grid for Discovery networks.

Dorsey Pictures will release the IMAX film Wings Over Water 3D, narrated by Michael Keaton, this fall. The film will be released to television markets in 2023 after its theatrical premieres.
