Plimsoll Productions Appoints for the U.S.

Plimsoll Productions has tapped Nat Geo alum Alan Eyres as head of Plimsoll USA.

Eyres will be responsible for expanding the company’s U.S. footprint and serve as a chief point of contact for all of Plimsoll’s factual U.S.-based business. Eyres spent the last decade as senior VP of unscripted production and development for National Geographic Global Channels.

Eyres has a long history with Plimsoll, having served as network programming executive across National Geographic’s Hostile Planet, Earth Live and Yellowstone Live. Eyres’s further credits include Disney+’s Limitless, featuring Chris Hemsworth; Will Smith’s Welcome to Earth; the Emmy-nominated series The World According to Jeff Goldblum; and Beyond Belief with David Blaine.

Eyres will report directly to Grant Mansfield, founder and CEO.

Mansfield said: “Alan is a highly respected executive with a well-known reputation for shepherding groundbreaking content with A-list talent.
