Pivot Adds Two Jamie Oliver Titles for U.S. Premieres

LOS ANGELES: Participant Media’s TV network Pivot has acquired rights to air Jamie’s Super Food and Jamie’s Sugar Rush from FremantleMedia International in the U.S.

British chef and best-selling author Jamie Oliver fronts both programs. Premiering on November 15 at 11 a.m., the six-part series Jamie’s Super Food showcases some of the healthiest places on the planet and the importance of food for centenarian populations. The documentary film Jamie’s Sugar Rush investigates the detrimental influence that sugar has on growing global health problems, such as obesity. It is set to debut on November 18 at 9 p.m.

“Jamie’s passion to generate positive change resonates with Pivot’s audience and we’re proud to bring these projects to the network,” said Jennie Morris, the executive VP of acquisitions, research and network operations for Pivot.
