PBS Slates Ocean-Focused Programming

PBS has unveiled a raft of ocean- and freshwater-centered programming, underscoring the company’s goal to address climate change.

The broad slate of programming will explore these issues through new and returning series, including the new title Hope in the Water, which travels the globe to discover the creative solutions and technologies that aim to feed us and help save our threatened seas and fresh waterways.

More titles include the brand-new Dynamic Planet, as well as Sea Change, a story about a body of water warming much more rapidly than the rest of the ocean. Returning series and episodes include Changing Planet: Coral SpecialNature: Patrick and the Whale, Independent Lens: One with the Whale and Weathered.

More titles are soon to be revealed.
