Passion Distribution has secured additional sales for the documentary series Pompeii’s Final Hours: New Evidence.

Pompeii’s Final Hours: New Evidence, also known as Last Days of Pompeii, was acquired by Foxtel in Australia, Choice TV in New Zealand, Sky Italia in Italy, and Viasat in CEE and Africa. The three-part documentary series presents a countdown through the final days of life in Pompeii.

The series illustrates how new archaeological digs and technologies are revealing information about the city and people buried in ash. It features historian Dr. Bettany Hughes (Genius of the Modern World, Britain’s Secret History), archaeologist Raksha Dave (Time Team) and John Sergeant (Britain’s Secret Treasures). Produced by Voltage TV, the program aired on Channel 5 in the U.K. at the end of May.
