Passion Distribution has secured a host of sales worldwide for the factual-entertainment medical series Don’t Tell the Doctor.

Nine Network in Australia, TVNZ in New Zealand, Digitcast in Italy, SBS in Belgium and Discovery in Africa have picked up Don’t Tell the Doctor. The format is under option in the U.S. In the U.K., the ten-episode series, which is produced by Arrow Media, premiered in prime time on 5STAR in February. On the show, a team of four young doctors come to the rescue of people who self-diagnose, helping to fix online misdiagnoses and disasters and treat patients who are in trouble.

Emmanuelle Namiech, the CEO of Passion Distribution, said, “Programs focused on health and well-being continue to be in great demand, so we were delighted to partner with Arrow Media on this great show. The series delivers fantastic no-nonsense medical advice at a time when online self-diagnosis often proves misguided. Buyers have responded incredibly well to the fresh, direct and non-judgmental approach of the show, and we’re confident international audiences will find the series both engaging and informative.”
