Passion Distribution Sells 300 Hours of Factual Programming

Passion Distribution has closed sales for 300 hours of factual programming across a range of genres throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Israel.

The company has licensed Mentorn Media’s Into the Congo with Ben Fogle to NPO (the Netherlands), RTBF and VRT (Belgium), AMC Networks Southern Europe, Viasat (pan-Europe) and Ananey (Israel). The three-parter sees Fogle take his most extreme journey to date, delving into the wilderness of the Congo.

Viasat has also acquired Unity House Productions’ Churchill’s Forgotten War and Middlechild Productions’ Coastguard: Search and Rescue S.O.S.

Discovery has picked up season three of Car Pound Cops and season five of Find It, Fix It, Flog It for Benelux, as well as season 12 of Traffic Cops for the Netherlands.

CBS Reality signed a deal for over 80 hours of programming for EMEA, including Cold Justice, Call the Bailiffs seasons one and two and Car Pound Cops seasons one through three.

In Belgium, DPG picked up the latest season of Tragic Cops. Play Media, meanwhile, licensed seasons one and two of Firecracker’s Open House: The Great Sex Experiment, Crackit Productions’ Send Nudes: Body S.O.S. and seasons three through five of Magical Elves’ Cold Justice.

Passion Distribution has also sold the 13th season of Traffic Cops to Sky in New Zealand.

The company also secured deals with Finland’s Yle, the Netherlands’ RTL, Norway’s RK and Australia’s SBS for Stacey Dooley: Inside the Undertakers. SBS also took season two of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA.
