Passion Distribution Docs Reach Asia

Passion Distribution has inked distribution deals for its documentary slate throughout Asia.

Dinosaur with Stephen Fry has been acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery for its Animal Planet network across Asia, as well as by Japanese pubcaster NHK. The docuseries chronologically tells the story of the dinosaurs’ 185 million years on Earth.

NHK has also licensed Big Ben Restored: The Grand Unveiling, while AETN18 Media Private in India has picked up Secrets of the Superfactories.

Hong Kong’s HK Television Entertainment Company bought a package that includes The Royals: A History of Scandals, Elizabeth: A Life Through the Lens, Miriam and Alan: Lost in Scotland, The Cotswolds with Pam Ayres, How to Build a City and Tool Club.

Further sales in in Hong Kong include TVB’s acquisition of Engineering Reborn, along with all three seasons of the lifestyle series Lap of Luxury.
