#NOVA Heads to Latin America

yes Studios has signed its first-ever deal with DIRECTV Latin America to bring #NOVA to audiences in the region in October 2024.

The documentary chronicles the Hamas terrorist attack at the Nova Festival in southern Israel in October 2023 using self-shot and mostly exclusive footage from festival attendees. The film premiere in Latin America will mark the one-year anniversary of the attack.

#NOVA was produced by Kastina Communication for yes Duco. Dan Pe’er directed.

“We are passionate about getting as many people as possible around the world to watch #NOVA,” said Sharon Levi, managing director of yes Studios. “Not only does it provide a poignant marker for a key date in history, but it also gives a clear and unbiased look at the unfathomable events of October 7 as they unfolded and the horrific treatment that was inflicted on young festival goers that day.

“To that end, this new relationship with DIRECTV Latin America, along with access to its huge and growing regional audience, is of vital importance to us. We are honored that this film is the first acquisition for our new partnership, and, of course, we hope it is only the first of many deals we can do together in the future.”

Jennifer Moscat Calderon, director of content acquisition and OnDIRECTV at Vrio Corp., parent company of DIRECTV Latin America, DGO and SKY Brasil, added, “We are very proud to bring to Latin America through the DIRECTV screen such valuable content as #NOVA to remember the tragic events of last October 7 and the hundreds of victims of the massacre. This moving documentary will be part of the varied proposal of the highest quality content that we offer to our audience in the region, reaching more than 40 million viewers.”
