The factual producer NHNZ has tapped Ched Raymundo for the role of director of sales for the U.S., based in Los Angeles.

In this role, Raymundo will be responsible for selling NHNZ content both in development and as acquisitions and maintaining and developing relationships within the U.S. television market. Raymundo will report to NHNZ Managing Director Kyle Murdoch.

Raymundo joins NHNZ from Discovery, where she was manager of program sales and acquisitions. She has extensive experience within the film and television industry, having worked in a variety of roles, including production, distribution, sales and acquisitions, and as a channel director and executive producer. Some career highlights include overseeing the acquisition deal with NHNZ for Mysterious Planet to air on Discovery Channel in the U.S., U.K., Latin America and Asia; overseeing a co-production/distribution partnership with Angel Valley for Auto/biography, which aired on Motor Trend in 2019; and acquiring the film Indivisible from Kudzu Films, which was licensed to Fuse Media and won them a Peabody Award in 2018.

“Ched has a wealth of experience covering production, distribution and sales, both in the U.S. and internationally, which makes her a great fit for NHNZ. We’re looking forward to Ched strengthening and cementing our presence in LA,” said Murdoch.

“2020 is off to a great start, and I’m beyond excited to join the NHNZ family and continue to bring high-caliber content to network and digital partners in the U.S.,” Raymundo added.
