New Jamie Roberts Documentary Premiering on BBC Two

Ukraine’s Frontline Fighters, aka Ukraine: Enemy in the Woods (w.t.), a new documentary from Emmy-winning filmmaker Jamie Roberts (Escape from Kabul, Four Hours at the Capitol), is slated to premiere on BBC Two.

The documentary, the debut title from Roberts’ HOYO Films, tells the story of frontline Ukrainian fighters as they battle to push back a Russian advance on Ukraine’s bombarded Eastern front. All3Media International is handling global distribution.

The documentary was filmed over nine weeks and gives a glimpse of the daily lives of frontline fighters as they face sustained Russian assaults.

Ukraine’s Frontline Fighters is directed by Roberts and executive produced by BAFTA-winning Jonathan Smith. It was commissioned by BBC Current Affairs.
