Netflix Orders John McAfee Doc

Curious Films has been commissioned by Netflix to produce a feature-length doc about the life and death of legendary software pioneer John McAfee.

Entitled Running with the Devil: The Wild World of John McAfee, the documentary charts the life of the original computer genius gone rogue. At his peak, McAfee was worth $100 million, but when his neighbor was murdered, he went on the run—and invited a film crew with him.

The doc features exclusive access to hundreds of hours of previously unseen footage of McAfee and in-depth accounts from the people who knew him best.

It is directed by Charlie Russell and executive produced by Dov Freedman, co-founders of Curious Films.
