Nat Geo Explores Legacy of Gen X in New Limited Series

WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic Channel’s new six-part limited series Generation X, narrated by Christian Slater, will explore the achievements and pivotal milestones of the so-called Gen-Xers.

Generation X is often defined as the 65 million people born between 1961 and 1981. Each episode in the series will focus on a different milestone of Generation X, exploring the political, cultural and economic forces at play. Among those contributing to the series are Kevin Smith, Courtney Love, Sarah Palin, Molly Ringwald, Gavin Newsom, Cory Booker, Julian Assange, Alison Stewart, Rachel Dratch, Tabitha Soren, Sway Calloway and Nas.

The series will premiere in the U.S. on February 14. It will also air globally in the spring on National Geographic Channels in 171 countries in 45 languages, and in Spanish on Nat Geo Mundo.
