Muse Entertainment has signed an exclusive first-look deal with award-winning journalist Rachel Browne to develop and provide docuseries for Canadian and international audiences.

Browne’s work has been recognized by the Canadian Association of Journalists, the Digital Publishing Awards, the National Magazine Awards and more. She has worked with Muse and other production companies on programs such as Witness for CBC, The Dark Side of Comedy for VICE TV and Water is the New Fire for The Weather Network.

Brown is a contributing writer at The Walrus magazine, where she published long-form investigations. Previously, she was a senior reporter at VICE, where she produced the documentaries Rat Park and Steel Town Down.

“Rachel is one of Canada’s most respected investigative journalists, whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with for the past five years,” said Jonas Prupas, managing director of Muse Ontario. “I’m thrilled to be bringing her further into the fold.”

“I am excited to continue working with Muse in bringing compelling and dynamic projects to life,” Browne commented.
