Misan Harriman Joins White Man Walking Documentary

Misan Harriman has joined White Man Walking, a feature-length BBC Storyville documentary about racial injustice, as executive producer.

White Man Walking is not just a film, it’s a reckoning,” said Harriman. “I’m proud to join this project to help interrogate power, privilege and allyship in ways that challenge, disarm and ultimately help us all grow. This is about truth-telling, not comfort.”

White Man Walking follows white filmmaker Rob Bliss on a journey through Trump’s America, wearing a Black Lives Matter T-shirt in the wake of George Floyd’s killing. The film asks why a simple act of advocating for Black lives can provoke such intense responses, particularly in poor, rural white communities. It is both a deeply personal journey and a broader call for empathy and understanding. The film is produced by Osun Group.

“Misan Harriman is one of our greatest storytellers,” said Luti Fagbenle, Osun Group founder and executive producer. “His deep commitment to social justice and unique visual perspective align perfectly with our mission to tell bold, impactful stories about racial and social injustice. His expertise will be invaluable in helping us share this powerful documentary. We’re delighted to be working with him.”
