Magnolia Network Slates New Architecture Series

Magnolia Network has slated a new series titled The Last Wright: Building the Final Home Design of America’s Greatest Architect, premiering September 3.

The four-part limited series follows mother-daughter team Debbie and Sarah Dykstra as they take on the ambitious challenge of building a home based on the last set of plans created by legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright before his death in 1959.

“Throughout the filming of this series, while facing many challenges associated with building from the ground up following FLW’s plans, our guiding question to the construction team was always ‘What would Frank do?’ We are thrilled that Magnolia Network collaborated with us to tell the story of Frank Lloyd Wright’s last residential home plan, #5909, to share the architectural genius of FLW with enthusiasts, as well as a new generation of fans,” said the Dykstras.

Frank Lloyd Wright has been regarded as one of the most influential architects of the 20th century, celebrated for his innovative philosophy of organic architecture. The Last Wright captures a rare opportunity to see one of his final residential designs come to life more than six decades later.
