Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Returns for Second Season

Arrow Media’s Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is set to return for a second season on National Geographic on January 1 and on Disney+ on January 4.

This season continues to showcase the animals in Disney’s care and the dedicated team of animal experts who manage their needs. Viewers are taken behind the scenes of locations such as Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT and Tri-Circle-D Ranch.

Other locations included are Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

“We are delighted that Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been commissioned by Nat Geo, Nat Geo Wild and Disney+ for a second series,” said Ash Potterton, executive producer at Arrow Media. “Arrow Media is renowned internationally across the factual landscape as a producer of innovative, world-class content, including a raft of nature programming. We have a proven ability to make these types of programs, an, once again, the unrivaled behind-the-scenes access secured for this series allows us to give viewers another fascinating insight into what it takes to care for some of the rarest creatures on earth. The U.S. market remains a key territory in the continuing expansion of Arrow Media, and this recommission helps us to continue to grow our portfolio of nature programming, as well as further cement our reputation across the pond.”
