Loud TV Taps Glen Freyer for Development Role

NEW YORK: Seasoned production and development exec Glen Freyer has been appointed as the new senior VP of development at Loud TV, part of ITV America’s Leftfield Entertainment group.

In his new role, Freyer will work out of New York under Nick Rigg, the president of Loud TV. He is responsible for all of the company’s development, which spans a variety of series and specials for more than ten broadcast and cable channels. Current Loud TV programs include Tiny House Nation, Tiny House Hunting and Food Porn for FYI.

Previously, Freyer served as executive VP of development for Bobby Flay’s Rock Shrimp Productions, where he sold food and lifestyle projects and helped expand the brand by developing content in other genres. Earlier in his career, he was the senior VP of development at Atlas Media Corp, VP of nonfiction development for Court TV, and development executive and EP at 20th Television Fox Lab. He began his TV career as a writer/producer for Blind Date.

Rigg remarked: “Having achieved great success as a development executive, as well as a producer, writer and director, Glen brings to Loud decades of media experience and creative expertise. His passion and approach to storytelling will be a great asset to Loud as we continue to expand our slate and develop influential and innovative new programming.”
