Lion Television USA Hires New Exec in Charge

Lion Television USA has appointed veteran executive Rebecca Bregman to the post of executive in charge.

Bregman is joining the current programming team, led by Allison Corn, to help oversee a production slate of close to 100 hours of programming that includes the relaunch of Cash Cab, the third season of Diabolical, second seasons of Hometown Homicide and Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall and more. In her new role, she will build and manage production teams and Lion’s overall production needs, reporting directly to Tony Tackaberry, CEO of Lion.

A three-time Emmy Award winner, Bregman has a long history with Lion, having produced three seasons of Cash Cab in 2009 and 2010. She previously served as head of production for Part2 Pictures, overseeing such projects as This is Life with Lisa Ling, Chasing Life with Sanjay Gupta, Scene of the Crime with Tony Harris and Dark Net. Prior to Part2, she was VP of production for Bobby Flay’s production company Rock Shrimp.
