Killer Cases, a new series from Dan Abrams’ (Live PD) Law&Crime Productions and Justice Network, has been presold to A+E Networks’ Crime + Investigation channels across its EMEA territories.

Killer Cases uses interviews and gripping footage to uncover the emotion, drama and suspense of some of the most chilling murder trials in America. Police officers, forensic experts, witnesses and defendants tell their stories, as cameras inside the courtroom capture the legal drama up to the final verdict.

Per the deal, the ten-part series will air in the U.K., Africa, Italy, Iberia, Germany, Poland and Africa, where it will broadcast as Murder Masterminds. Killer Cases is distributed by Cineflix Rights, which inked a pact with Law & Crime Productions and Justice Network to help greenlight the series.

Abrams said: “Killer Cases will leave viewers on the edge of their seats as they follow the twists and turns of each case until the final verdict. We are thrilled to partner with Cineflix Rights and Justice Network to produce this show and offer viewers a window inside the courtroom drama.”

Richard Life, head of acquisitions at Cineflix Rights, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Dan’s team and Justice Network to enable the greenlight of Killer Cases. The early presale to Crime + Investigation indicates the strength of such an exciting, high-quality series which will undoubtedly appeal to buyers around the world. Partnering with producers and broadcasters to greenlight new shows is a strategy Cineflix Rights is using more and more as it suits today’s production and commissioning environment.”
