Jupiter Promotes Steven McGovern to VP of Production

Jupiter Entertainment has upped seasoned producer Steven McGovern to the post of VP of production.

In his new position, McGovern will oversee day-to-day operations, including budgeting and scheduling across all Jupiter projects. He will supervise a production slate of more than 250 hours of programming for 2018-19, which includes Snapped (Oxygen), Murder Chose Me (ID), Homicide Hunter (ID), Murder Calls (ID), Killer Couples (Oxygen) and Fatal Attraction (TV One).

Over the course of his career, McGovern has worked for such companies as Leopard USA, ITV Studios, Studio Lambert, Cineflix and RDF; and multiple networks and cable outlets, including ID, Oxygen, ABC, Reelz, CNBC, HGTV, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. He most recently served as the director of production at Jupiter.

McGovern will continue to work out of Jupiter’s New York City office and report directly to Robert Twilley, senior VP and general manager.
