Jan Salling’s Missing Link Media On Board The Fashion Hero

MONTREAL: Beauty World Search has secured an agency representation deal with Jan Salling’s Missing Link Media for the new competitive reality series The Fashion Hero.

The agreement sees Salling serving as a consultant for Beauty World Search to help optimize The Fashion Hero format and ready-made series for international broadcast and distribution partners. The deal follows the appointment of Cesar O. Diaz’s Miami-based 7A Media as distributor for Latin America.

The 8×60-minute series focuses on real people and atypical beauty in a fashion world setting. The series seeks to revolutionize the fashion industry by challenging perceived norms. The show sees participants from around the world compete before a panel of renowned designers, including Anna Scholz from London, Christopher Bates from Milan, and Johana Hernandez and Ximena Valero from L.A. The participants compete to be featured in the designers’ forthcoming international advertising campaigns, not just as new faces, but also as role models for a generation. The series is hosted by Brooke Hogan, daughter of WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan.

“I’m delighted to welcome Jan Salling to our team,” said Caroline Bernier, the president of Beauty World Search and executive producer of The Fashion Hero. “Jan’s considerable international expertise and experience in producing and distributing prime-time shows will help us shape the The Fashion Hero programs and format for the international broadcast and distribution partners.”

Salling commented: “When I launched Missing Link Media I promised myself to only work with great projects and great people. This is a great project with a mission to change the fashion industry for the better and to make a positive difference for millions of young people. I am impressed with the passion and dedication Caroline Bernier and her entire team have put into The Fashion Hero and I look forward to help give it the international exposure and rollout it deserves.”
