ITVS GE Enters First-Look Output Deal with World Media Rights

LONDON: ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has inked an exclusive first-look output deal with the factual producer World Media Rights (WMR), which is behind such shows as Animal Black Ops.

ITVS GE already distributes three of WMR’s series: Real Story Of…, Animal Black Ops and Fugitive Black Ops. The company has signed sales for Animal Black Ops with Discovery Networks in Sweden and for Fugitive Black Ops with Australia’s Nine Network, with further deals in the works. ITVS GE will launch new WMR-produced titles to the international market at MIPCOM.

Ronan Hand, the head of factual and entertainment acquisitions for ITV Studios Global Entertainment, said: “World Media Rights are factual documentary specialists with significant expertise in original research and drama reconstruction and a track record of producing hundreds of hours of high-quality factual programming for U.S. and international broadcasters.
