ITV Commissions Twofour’s My Shirley Valentine Summer

ITV has commissioned Twofour to produce a brand-new, tentatively titled series, My Shirley Valentine Summer.

The 4×1-hour series will see a group of eight famous women explore the Greek Islands, rediscovering themselves as they look for love or find a new hobby or career. The women will live together and share their experiences. The series is executive produced by David Clews, the creative director of Twofour.

Clews stated, “We can’t wait to take our brilliant cast of ‘Shirleys’ over to Greece. Their summer in the sun will be a jam-packed experience—discovering new passions and rediscovering themselves as they get to grips with local life and the local dating scene. This is going to be a wonderfully warm, funny and heartfelt adventure. Hopefully with some romance too.”
