Insight TV has entered into a programming partnership with StarTimes in Sub-Saharan Africa, supplying eight sports-themed series to the sports channels StarTimes Sports Focus and StarTimes Sports Lifestyle.

StarTimes Sports Focus has added King of the Hammers: Ultra4 Saga, a reality series based around the U.S. off-road race competition; MTB Heroes: Trailblazers, which follows mountain biking legends on and off the trail; Extraordinary Humans, which sees biologist Thom Hunt going in search of people with real-life superpowers; seasons one and two of the competition game show THRU; and Living Stone, a competition show that follows five couples embarking on a hike through Botswana’s wilderness.

Joining StarTimes Sports Life are Extraordinary Humans; Photonis Ultimate Forces Challenge, a series that looks at the search for the most complete team in The Photonis Ultimate Forces Challenge; and No Time to Lose, in which nine individuals compete during an intensive, action-packed trip across South Africa.

Rian Bester, CEO of Insight TV, said: “Sports channels around the world have been hit hard by the shutdown in live-event sports programming and are only now starting to recover. Insight TV’s millennial-focused original series include many story-driven sports lifestyle and competition series that are perfect ways to keep StarTimes’ viewers excited and engaged. We are pleased to introduce our shows to millions of African viewers through this deal.”
