Insight TV has recently rolled out on The Weather Channel’s Local Now free streaming platform and launched three of its digital services on Pluto TV in the U.K. and Germany.
Local Now, owned by Weather Group’s subsidiary of Bryon Allen’s Entertainment Studios, is expanding its local news and information content to include entertainment channels such as Insight TV. Available across the U.S. via a portfolio of OTT, CTV, mobile and TV platforms, the platform is now airing such Insight TV titles as Ultimate Goal, a competition series focusing on female soccer players, and Full Circle, which chronicles the evolution and rise of skateboarding.
The second season of the freestyle motocross, MTB and BMX series Masters of Dirt and the martial arts docuseries Story of Masters starring Dan Fogler are also available on Local Now. Coming December 20 is the brand-new original series focused on the world of esports, Making the Squad: FIFA Edition.
In Europe, the lifestyle channel Insight TV, action-focused channel InTrouble and science/technology/knowledge channel InWonder are now available on Pluto TV in the U.K. and Germany. Featured titles on the channels include Ultimate Goal (Insight TV), Epic Exploring (InWonder) and Inside Masters of Dirt (InTrouble).
