Ink Factory’s Rod Henwood Becomes Chair of Tin Roof Media

Rod Henwood is joining the board of Tin Roof Media as non-executive chair of the non-scripted production group, which houses Blink Films and Outline Productions.

Henwood currently serves as chief strategy officer and board director of The Ink Factory, the independent studio behind The Little Drummer Girl, Fighting with My Family and The Night Manager.

As non-executive chair, Henwood will chair the board of the group, working alongside the majority shareholders and the executive team, including the recently appointed Tin Roof Director of Operations Ulla Streib, Finance Director Matt Fleming, Blink Films Co-Founders Dan Chambers and Justine Kershaw and Outline co-Founders Laura Mansfield and Helen Veale.

Henwood said: “Blink and Outline have two of the most creative teams in TV. They’ve been quietly and successfully growing their businesses by delivering high quality, returnable formats and series to broadcasters in the U.K. and internationally. The growing number of new digital platforms alongside renewed demand from traditional broadcasters for the content Blink and Outline specialize in producing provides a huge opportunity for both companies to increase their output and their U.S., U.K. and international clients. I’m looking forward to helping Dan, Justine, Laura, Helen and Ulla on a growth strategy for Tin Roof which will take the group to the next stage of its existence.”
