SAN FRANCISCO/LOS ANGELES: Indie TV production company Indigo Films is launching a new office in Culver City, California, that will be led by Katie Hash as senior VP of development.

Before this appointment, Hash served as VP of development at A. Smith & Co. Productions. During her time there, she contributed to the success of such hit shows as American Ninja Warrior on NBC, Wizard Wars on Syfy, Unsung on TVOne and UFC Countdown on Spike, among others.

Also at Indigo, Rose Viggiano has been promoted to senior director of development and branded entertainment, while Amy Hutchinson is being elevated to director of development and talent and has relocated to L.A. from the company’s northern California headquarters.

Before joining Indigo, Viggiano was the senior VP of production and programming at DanceOn, Madonna’s digital venture. Earlier in her career, she oversaw Dynamic Content Productions. Hutchinson previously served as a casting producer for Magical Elves on such series as Top Chef and America’s Next Great Restaurant for NBC. She was also a casting director at Johlt Productions.

David M. Frank, Indigo Films’ president, remarked: “We’ve expanded not only our development team, but we’re really excited having an L.A. presence where most of the networks have their teams. We also want to expand to new networks and diversify our production slate.”

Indigo has its own studio on Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay Area.
